Happy Friday!
Join me in my kitchen to make my all-time favorite baked egg dish, and head on over to the all-new homepage to whip up some mulled cider and browse in-season recipes, and grab the awesome discounts below!
Here's what's happening in this week's Friday 5:
1. YouTubing
Shakshuka is a delicious and flavorful baked egg recipe that originated in North Africa. Today you'll learn how to make the perfect Shakshuka at home — this is my version in my American kitchen. I love this recipe because it’s easy, delicious, nutritious, and always impresses.
Whether it’s a family meal, meal prep, or for entertaining, Shakshuka definitely needs to be in your rotation.
2. Making 👩🍳
In addition to the Shakshuka, easy Mulled Cider is definitely in the rotation this weekend. Just throw some whole spices in a pot with some cider and let it heat on low to bring out the warming goodness of cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. You can experiment and make it your own, I teach you how to do it here.
And if you missed it last week, be sure to check out Mom's Pot Roast in a Crockpot.
3. Loving 💃
My new Cozy Earth sheets that arrived last week—they're even better than I thought! They feel like a cloud and are warm yet breathable. I don't know how they do it 🤯
I've replaced nearly all of our towels and linens with Cozy Earth over the last few years — it's really the best choice for sustainable luxury linens. Their sheets, towels, and linens are all made from viscose from bamboo, which not only ensures a high level of quality but also contributes to their stunningly beautiful designs.
Cozy Earth is giving us 40% OFF for the holiday season!
I've partnered with them for a few years now and can say they are a great company to work with.
Through Black Friday, save 40% on their entire website with code ELIZABETHRIDER40.
4. Showing & Telling 🖥️
Showing: The brand new homepage layout over on ElizabethRider.com!
I love this new editorial layout to help you quickly access new posts and your favorite recipes. We're posting new articles 3-4 times every week so come back often for new finds and fun reads.
Telling: People how to get their own great website.
For those of you who want your own website, I have the inside scoop on the biggest sale of the year from my own website designer, Tonic Site Shop.
In today's market, you need a website that moves as fast as you do, social graphics as strong as your message, and marketing as unique, creative, and original as you are. Tonic's award-winning templates are designed to ensure you stand out in a sea of tabs, noise, and short attention spans.
Starting on the 15th, you can get their biggest savings of the year on website templates and bundles. I'm dropping this here early so you can be ready for it if you're in the market for a website. My site is a customized version of their Lillet Blanc template.
Use code ELIZABETHRIDER for 20% off any template, and nearly 50% off the Black Friday Bundles (starts Nov 15th, ends Nov 27th).
5. Reminiscing
About last night...
We saw Ms. Lauryn Hill & Fugees last night in Seattle and... WOW. Whatta show. The artistry, show quality, and (obviously) the talent of the artists was incredible. The music felt nostalgic and still very relevant at the same time. If you can get tickets to this tour I highly recommend it.
Cheers!
