Hi hi!
I’m back from a short digital detox and loving a few new recipes I discovered on our recent trip to Napa. I’m itching to get back into the kitchen!

1. Writing: 13 Potluck Recipes Everyone Loves
It’s officially summer gathering season, and this roundup has you covered.
Whether you're headed to a BBQ, picnic, or long weekend with friends, these recipes are easy to prep, travel well, and always disappear fast.
(Side note: they’d be great for meal prep, too.)
Think pasta salads, potatoes, and veggie-forward dishes that stay well at room temperature.
2. Making: Easy Three-Bean Salad
I’ve really been into bean salads lately (this one is always a favorite). They’re quick, filling, and packed with fiber.
This new recipe is simple but full of flavor, with a tangy vinaigrette and a mix of beans that keep things interesting. Great as a side or light lunch.

3. Testing: No-Mayo Artichoke Dip
You know how most artichoke dip is full of mayo and feels super heavy? Not this one! I found this in Napa and I’m hooked. No mayo. No cream. It was light yet filling, flavorful, and totally satisfying.
If you can find that brand at a specialty food store, it’s worth it! However, it might not be easy to find for most people.
I’m working on recreating it now, and I’ll share the recipe as soon as it’s ready. It’s a keeper. Stay tuned!
4. Reading: The Algebra of Happiness
I’m about to start the audiobook version of The Algebra of Happiness by Scott Galloway.
I’ve heard it’s both practical and thoughtful, and I’m looking forward to seeing what insights it has to offer.
5. Savoring: Vacationing Close to Home
This view from the patio at our hotel felt like we were in the Mediterranean (but it was just a quick 90-minute flight from home in Seattle!)
It was a quick getaway that we didn’t know we needed. More trip highlights and recommendations to come, but I had to share this one.
Cheers!
Elizabeth
