Let’s make some healthy hot chocolate. 💃
Store-bought mixes and coffee shop hot chocolates often have 35-40+ grams of added sugar PER serving. Yikes! While an occasional treat is always ok, if you want to indulge in hot chocolate more often, making it at home is quite simple and WAY better for your health.
Every year, over 150,000 people flock to my blog for this magical drink. This year, I recorded a special 5-minute video episode to ensure your healthy hot chocolate turns out perfect every time.
Making your hot chocolate at home is better for your health and easier on your wallet.
So grab your favorite mug, gather the simple ingredients, and get ready to cozy up with a cup of pure chocolatey bliss.
Tips for great hot chocolate at home:
You can use any unsweetened milk (almond, soy, oat, coconut, rice, cow, goat, etc.) - perfect for vegan, dairy-free, or any dietary style you prefer. I prefer almond milk.
You’ll need just 4 simple essentials for the BEST healthy hot chocolate at home. Milk of choice, unsweetened cocoa powder, honey or maple (or sweetener of choice), and a dash of vanilla.
Heat the milk before adding the other ingredients for the ideal chocolatey richness & silky smooth texture.
