🥯 2 Ingredient Bagels, My Fave Organic Makeup + More!
😍 A shockingly good recipe plus lots of fun stuff to share this week...
Happy Friday!
You. Guys.
I just discovered this easy 2-ingredient bagel recipe (and yes, it can be made with gluten-free AP flour) and they turn out remarkably well. At this point in my career, I’m not often surprised by recipe results, but these pleasantly surprised me!
I’ve tested it and written it up for you, and I’m excited to keep experimenting with it.
Here’s this week’s Friday 5 👇
1. Making: 2-Ingredient Bagels 😍
My 2-ingredient bagel recipe is based off an old Weight Watcher’s (WW) recipe. While I’m not into WW, per se, I am definitely into this recipe.
It’s quick, easy, and satisfying and gives that store-bought bagel taste and feel without all of the preservatives.
They toast up great, and we’re excited to use them for sandwiches!
2. Loving: This Organic Makeup
I’m seriously loving this new organic makeup line.
I’ve been wanting to simplify/switch up my makeup for a while, and this has been a game-changer—I’m obsessed to say the least!
Their Sculpted Face Stick (I use the shade Linden) goes on beautifully, stays all day, and the colors are stunning. It’s also buildable, so it can give you a nice tinted moisturizer look, or you can build it to fuller coverage.
I also recommend their Crystal Contour Collection—three sticks can be used on cheeks, eyes, and lips, as a highlighter or contour, and as a blush. I got all four sticks (the face stick + the controur collection) and the blender brush, and it’s simplified my makeup routine so much! I also love that they’re sticks, not liquid, so will travel easily.
They blend beautifully and are almost foolproof. I’m so glad I took the leap and got them.

3. Listening: This Podcast All About Peptides
Peptides have been all the talk in health circles for the last year, and I’m learning more every week.
I’ve been diving into this Huberman Lab episode, featuring Dr. Craig Koniver on peptide therapies. It’s fascinating stuff about peptides and hormones and how they can improve health, performance, and longevity. If you’re into cutting-edge wellness, this episode is a must-listen.
I’ll keep sharing about peptides with you as I learn more, too.
4. Breathing: To Binaural Beats
Binaural beats help calm your mind and body, and paired with 10 minutes of deep breathing, I find it to be the perfect reset either mid-day or right before bed.
If you’re not familiar with binaural beats (I wasn’t until a few years ago!), here’s what they are:
The term “Binaural Beats” is a fascinating sound effect that can help alter brainwave activity. When you listen to two slightly different frequencies in each ear, your brain perceives a third tone—a "beat" that’s the difference between the two. This process can help synchronize brainwave activity, potentially inducing a state of calm, focus, or relaxation, depending on the frequency. Studies suggest that specific frequencies may promote deep relaxation or even improved focus. It’s like a gentle tuning mechanism for your brain, aligning your mental state with the goal you’re aiming for.
The binaural beats playlist on the “Calm app,” and you can also find similar music on YouTube for free.
5. Reading: “Be Ready When Luck Happens”
Ina Garten’s memoir has been the cozy, wholesome escape I didn’t know I needed. Her story is heartwarming, and her writing is quite fun to read!
I’ve been loving the delightful glimpse into her life. See it here »
Happy Friday!
